Customer Intranet

The RoomBoss customer intranet allows customers to make payments by payment gateway such as Paypal and view the details of their booking online.

The customer Intranet is accessed via a Url which is displayed on the Edit A Booking page (a guest email address must be entered to use the guest Intranet) and can be sent to your guest. Guests can also see their booking by entering their booking number and email address on RoomBoss.

The Intranet page shows multiple tabs one for each item in a package, packages can contain both your own and 3rd party services.

It is also possible to setup a hosted subdomain with a customized customer intranet with your website headers etc. Please see Web Widgets – Web Configurations for CSS Customisation and Tracking  for more information.

Customized Intranet Messages

You can display customized Intranet messages which could contain payment conditions, bank details, and/or general instructions for the end consumer. Terms and conditions, or a link to the terms and conditions page on your website, could also be added here.

There are 4 types of message which can be displayed on the Intranet:

Booking Specific Message

Can be entered individually on every booking for one of your vendors in the package.

On the Edit A Booking page add your message to the Invoice & Intranet Message field.

Package Specific Message

Can be entered once on every package, will display on the package when looking at a booking for any of the vendors in a package.

On the Edit A Booking page add your message via the Messages tab.

Vendor Specific Message

Will show on all bookings for this vendor. The vendor specific message can be entered for any vendor; yours, or those of a 3rd party which you are on-selling.

Navigate → Product Setup →  Rich Messages select the Vendor Specific tab, the Vendor you would like to add a message for and Guest Intranet Message:

Choose the appropriate language, enter your intranet message and click Save.

Account Wide Message

Will show on every booking for one of your vendors in the package.

Navigate → Product Setup →  Rich Messages select the Account Wide tab and Guest Intranet Message:

Choose the appropriate language, enter your intranet message and click Save.
