Prepare to start selling by setting up your inventory:
Add Available Room Stock
How you add available room stock will depend on your account type.
Will RoomBoss be managing all of your inventory in this property? – If so you have a PMS account.
Will RoomBoss have access to sell only selected rooms in this property? – If so you have a Sales account.
PMS Account Inventory Setup
For PMS accounts preparing your inventory involves adding all existing future bookings.
Navigate → Bookings → New Booking
Enter each booking using the Booking Wizard.
Any unit type that is not fully booked for a date range is available to be booked for that date range.
Sales Account Inventory Setup
For Sales Account holders, please enter the number of rooms you wish to distribute:
Navigate → Product Setup → Control Stock
The Control Stock page shows how many rooms are available to be booked.
You can add and remove room stock from this page, available room stock is maintained by the user and room stock is set independently for each room type. You can add and remove room stock at any time.
Any stock you have added to this page is available to be booked.
Notes on room stock:
- Travel agent bookings and portal site booking requests can only be received if there is available stock.
- The number of rooms available to book will automatically decrease as bookings are made.
- It is also possible to specify that stock is for use by particular agents (allotments).
