To set-up Paypal integration:
Navigate → Product Setup → Product Details → Policy
You can set payment gateway for each vendor under online payments at the bottom of the page.
You will need to add the information provided to you by the payment gateway here and click Save. Using PayPal Standard as an example you would enter the email address associated with your PayPal account.
Note: In order for payments to automatically register in RoomBoss, it may be necessary to set your payment gateway account to send notifications — please contact your payment gateway for help with this.
To integrate with a standard PayPal account, enter the email address associated with your PayPal account.
To integrate with a PayPal Plus account, enter the PayPal ID (Secure Merchant ID) associated with your PayPal account, this can be found on the top section of the Profile page on PayPal.com
PayPal and Non-Latin Characters
If you will be receiving PayPal payments from guests whose names contain non-Latin characters, for example Japanese or Chinese characters or others such as à, ç, ù or ô, it is necessary to check the settings with in your PayPal account.
Please refer to Paypal to find the instructions to change the Language Encoding Settings in your PayPal account.
Received Payment without RoomBoss Updating?
- Check if the Language Encoding Settings have been set up in your PayPal account.
- Check if guest has paid via guest intranet link. Sellers would still get a payment notification email from PayPal when guest paid directly from the guest’s PayPal account. When payment was not made via guest intranet link, payments do not automatically register in RoomBoss.
