Stop Sell allows you to prevent 3rd parties (Travel Agents or website users) making enquiries or bookings for a date or set of dates.
If a product is on Stop Sell:
- Users on your account will be able to make or edit bookings as normal.
- Users on your account will be able to make or edit booking on behalf of agents as normal.
- Agents will not be able to make reservations or requests, for a Stop Sold product, that overlap the Stop Sold date(s).
- Agents will not be able to edit bookings which overlap stop sold dates.
- Customers will not be able to make enquries via your website or portal websites, for a Stop Sold product, that overlap the Stop sold date(s).
Notes:
- Stop sell applies to Non – accommodation products only.
- Only users with “Manage Stock/Allotments/Stop Sell” permissions can set or edit stop sells.
To use stop sell:
Navigate → Product Setup → Stop Sell (Beta)
To set a Stop Sell:
- Choose the date range you wish to look at and click Submit
- For each product click the check boxes for the days you wish to Stop Sell
- Click Save
To take a product off Stop Sell:
- Uncheck the appropriate checkboxes
- Click Save
In the example above, Ski Group Adult AM is Stop Sold for 23rd and 24th and Snowboard Private Adult – AM Stop Sold for 22nd and 23rd.
