Within RoomBoss it is possible to group together bookings of your own and / or 3rd party accommodation and services and present these together as packages. Invoicing can then be done for the package as a whole.
3 examples of ways this could be used are:
- A travel agent could book accommodation, airport transfers and ski rentals from different 3rd party suppliers and invoice and present them to their guests as a package via the guest intranet.
- An accommodation provider could package its own accommodation with its own services and /or 3rd party services and invoice and present them to their guests as a package via the guest intranet.
- An accommodation provider could package its own accommodation with its own services and present them to an agent as a package via the agent login.
1 – Making a Package
On the Edit a Booking screen it is possible to add bookings for other services to make a package, by clicking the add to package tab.

It is possible to set your own sell price for 3rd party items here.
2 – Invoicing a package
Invoices and receipts for your package are generated via the Financial tab, bookings within a package are invoiced as a whole. Although it is possible to invoice for any amount you choose, invoices are presented to the customer on the package rather than the individual booking items.
Invoices are generated on your sell prices and show all the items in a package.
3 – Cancelling A Booking Within A Package
When cancelling booking within a package, cancelled items will still be included in the total price of the package, unless they are removed from the package.
When cancelling a booking, set the Sell Price of the booking to the cancellation fee (zero if no fee).

4 – Removing a booking from a package.
A booking can be removed from a package by clicking the icon in the package overview area at the top of the page then ok in confirmation window.
Bookings that have been removed from packages will no longer be included in the invoices and receipts or visible on the guest intranet link for the package.
