If you have activated Agents you may start to receive Agent booking requests.
Booking requests are for guest services products (ski rentals, lessons etc).
In order to control your stock (sets of rental equipment, available ski lessons etc) agent guest service bookings can come in as requests.
A request is not a confirmed booking until you change the Order Type to Reservation.
A “Booking Request” email will be sent to you when a request is made by an agent using RoomBoss. Booking request emails are sent to the email address registered to your RoomBoss account.
- Booking ID and name of agent.
- Details of the product/service the agent has selected, including dates, number of guests, order options.
- A message from the agent, if any.
To open the request:
Navigate → Bookings → Search Bookings
You can search for the booking using booking number and the Search by ID tab.
Check the details, you can clarify details with the agent or respond to their questions by replying to the “New Booking” email.
To confirm a booking click Edit in the Booking Status area, change the Order Type to Reservation and click Save.
The booking is now confirmed and Booking confirmation emails will be sent to the Agent and to you.
